Margaret Lois Howell, 96, of Perry died of a heart ailment Monday at Rowley Memorial Masonic Home there. the body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel at Rowley Memorial Masonic Home in Perry. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Howell was born in Greene County and had lived in Bellingham, Wash., and Dawson before returning to Perry in 1983. she was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

She is survived by a brother Leo Riley, and two sisters, Joyce Maddy and Hollis Stroud, all of Perry. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clement Boynton and Eastman Howell.
