WARRANTY DEED
Thomas and Minnie Harrison to Henry McLellan 1918

Know All Men by These Presents: That Thomas Harrison and Minnie Harrison (husband and wife) of Dallas County, and State of Iowa in consideration of the sum of Nine thousand Five Hundred dollars in hand paid by Henry McLellan of Dallas County, and State of Iowa do hereby SELL AND CONVEY unto the said Henry McLellan the following described premises, situated in the County of Dallas and State of Iowa, to-wit:

North west Quarter (N.W. 1/4) of the North West Quarter (N.W. 1/4) of Section Twenty-two (22) Township Eighty (80) North, Range Twenty-eight West 5th P.M. Iowa containing forty acres more or less.

And we hereby covenant with the said Henry McLellan that we hold said premises by good and perfect title; that we have good right and lawful authority to sell and convey the same; that they are free and clear from all encumbrances whatsoever.

And we covenant to WARRANT AND DEFEND the said premises against lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.

And the said Minnie Harrison hereby relinquishes her right of dower in and to the above described premises.

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this 14th day of February A.D. 1918 before me personally appeared Thomas Harrison and Minnie Harrison (husband and wife) to me known to be the persons named in and who executed the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged that they executed the same as their voluntary act and deed.
