WARRANTY DEED
Alfred Rhoades and wife to Frank J. Slaninger 1900

Know all Men by these Presents:
That Alfred Rhoades and Jennie Rhoades (husband and wife) of Dallas County and State of Iowa in consideration of the sum of Sixty Three Hundred and Sixty Dollars in hand paid by Frank J. Slaninger of Dallas County and State of Iowa do hereby SELL AND CONVEY unto the said Frank J. Slaninger the following described premises, situated in the County of Dallas and State of Iowa, to-wit:

South East Quarter of Section Sixteen (16) in Township Eighty (80) North of range Twenty eight (28) West 5" P.M. Dallas County Iowa (Except One acre in the South East Corner for School Purposes) and containing 159 acres more or less Subject however to a mortgage to the Iowa Loan and Trust Co. of $4500 and Recorded in book 143 page 2 Dallas County Records, which Frank J. Slaninger herby assumes to pay.

And hereby covenant with the said Frank J. Slaninger that we hold said premises by good and perfect title; that we have good right and lawful authority to sell and convey the same; that they are free and clear of all liens and incumbrances whatsoever.

And we covenant to WARRANT AND DEFEND the said premises against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.

And the said Jennie Rhoades hereby relinquishes her right in and to the above described premises.
