researching McGarry surname

I am researching Enos(sometimes spelled as Aenas or Aeneas)McGarry. He came to Clinton county in 1856 from Scott County, Iowa. He came from Ireland in 1821 to New York, then to Ohio and then to Iowa. His wife was Elizabeth McClung and was from New York. He died in 1875. His son John J appears in many of the county records and seems to have resided in Clinton county his whole life. Enos' son William also seems to have been prominant in the community. I am interested in findng out more innformation about Enos.
