Looking for descendants of Seth Lee Banks, born 1811 in CT., married Sarah Hubbell 1835 in Amenia NY and were in Clinton Co., IA by 1851. Lived Elk River Twp. 1851-1867 and in Wheatland in 1867. Both buried in the English Cemetery in Wheatland, Clinton Co., IA. Children: Henry Banks b. 1836 NY, married Sarah Unknown, (2) Sarah Elizabeth b. 1837 NY, married David McKeen, (3) William bc 1839 NY, died young, (4) Edward Asa Banks born 1841 NY, died 1862 Civil War, (5) George N.Banks born 1843 NY, died 1862 Civil War, (6) Harriet Banks b. 1846 WI, married William Henry Hicks, (7) Ida Isabell Banks b. 1850 WI, married Charles A. Chapman, (8) Charles Eugene Banks b. 1852 IA, married Carrie Wyatt Lounsberry, (9) Albert L. Banks born 1854 IA. Would like to hear from you.
