I am searching for info regarding my great grandfather's (William Henry Ziegler) family. His brothers and sisters were Ida, Thomas, Linnie, and Winfield. His parents were Jacob Ziegler and Elizabeth Sands. William's Death certificate says he was born in Mt Carroll Illinois 1880, but his Daughters birth certificate says Iowa and I have seen that they all lived in Clinton Illinois and graduated from high school there. Specifically, I would like to know where Jacob and Elizabeth came from before living in Clinton Iowa.

Any help would be appreciated.
