Trying to find all I can about Dr James J Gregory b Iowa 1862-3. Son of Elias (probably). Married a Chaffee in Elwood, Iowa, 1886. Went as medical doctor to China 1888. Died 1896. Served with Methodist Episcopal Church Mission in Fukien (Fujian) Province.
Particularly interested in any letters written by James Gregory to family and friends in USA. The letters would normally carry the address Kucheng, Foochow, China. His hospital was the Wiley Memorial Hospital, Kucheng, Foochow, China.
