Elizabeth T[ansy] Stewart married first to John Huston had 2 children (supposedly) but for sure Elizabeth T Stewart married last to my relative George Ala around 1858. George was born in Minnesota. They had three children George Ala, b. Kansas, Margaret Veronica b, kansas, and John Henry Ala b. Kansas. I am having a hard time trying to find this couple's marriage. Elizabeth Luella Stewart is a possible other alias or married name of herself. I am very skeptical about that middle name Luella, but I cannot find tansy at all, thinking that George Ala married 2nd in 1899 to Augusta Becker b. Germany . So any help to find out how to find and search online resources to find any of these surnames "Ala/Aly/Ele/Ely"...currently family uses Ala but this is also the shortened state name of Alabama, so how do i make sure to not include those residences in links from ancestry or newspapers.com or google even, how do I block out properly Alabama and still get Ala as a surname?
