Seeking information about Walter E. Bort (1889-1954). The evidence that I have been able to collect: 1900 census in Ford Co., Kansas with remarried mother Mary Baucom and Stepfather, John Baucom. He is still in Kansas with family in 1910. I have not been able to locate Walter Bort in 1920, but in the 1930 census we find Walter and wife Bessie with son John E. (1918/9)in Clinton, Clinton County, Iowa.
He was a well known architect and came to Clinton County, Iowa in 1920.
Seeking birthdate verification and remarriage information to Mary Louise.
Any help is well appreciated.
