Zismer family information

I am trying to find more information on Lawrence & Mary (Lang) Zismer and their children. They immigrated from Germany to Clinton Co. in the 1880s and had at least 5 children. Lawrence was also spelled Lorenz and Laurence. One of their children is listed on Mary's obituary in 1922 as Mrs. John Scott. I do not have a first name for her, and I am not finding census records for Lawrence and Mary when the children were still in their household. I would really like to find out what her first name was so I can track her descendants. The other siblings are John (my direct ancestor), Emma, Irene, and Louis. I also suspect that Lawrence Zismer may have had a brother in Clinton Co., and I am looking for confirmation of that as well.
