Phyllis: I have information from my aunt Teresa Reilly from some 20+ years ago. Terrens O’Reilly was born in County Cavan, Ireland, in 1822. Bridget McInaly was born in County Longford in 1831. Terrens & Bridget were married in Providence, RI in 1853.
Their first three children were born in Providence, Anna Marie (born 1854), John James (1856), & Terrence (1858). Their next two, Charles Anthony (1862), & Sarah Jane (1866), were born in Davenport, IA. The last son, my grandfather William Henry(1867), was born in Welton. My grandfather married Mary Margaret O’Connell, their children are: Leone (Uhl), Raymond, Teresa, Marguerite, John (died at 3 mos.), Charles, and Catherine (Duggan), my mother. Terrens & Bridget are buried in a small cemetery, St. Colomkill’s in Hughes Settlement in Grant Twp. (near Welton). There is an unknown infant buried next to them, but, the balance of the graves is the Hughes family. My grandparents, William & Mary are buried in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Delmar. Buried next to them are their son Charles, daughter Teresa, and the3 month old infant John.
