Susan, Thank you for responding regarding the Kruse family. I am the great-great granddaughter of Claus Kruse, son of Paul and Margaretha. Yes, you are absolutely correct. Margaretha's surname was Stoltenberg. I have German census showing this fact, passenger list coming to America and other documents. I would be happy to share. I would be thrilled if I could get a copy of the picture you have of your great-great grandmother Catharina Kruse. Do you have any photos of Paul and Margaretha? Am also looking for Hans and family. Claus and Hans married sisters. (I am also related through the Petersen side of the family.) I do have a photo of Claus and his family I could share. I have made contact with two other Kruse relatives and may have future information to share. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
