To Whom This May Concern,
I have been searching for death records for genealogical purpose on my great great grandmother, Cora Belle Teachout Anderson, who was born in either Texas or St. Louis. She relocated as a child, with her mother and lived on the Edward Grady Butcher homestead in Camanche, Iowa. Cora Belle's father was Henry Teachout and her mother is Susan Elizabeth Rexroad Teachout Butcher. She was born in August of 1861.
She married Arthur E. Anderson and they had three children, one who was deceased at birth or infancy, and one son Maurice Anderson who was born in 1884 and Harry Rexroad Anderson born I believe in 1887 or 1888. (I am not at home to give you the correct birthdate for Harry Anderson, who is my great-grandfather).
I have census images all of the way up to 1920 which states she lived on the homestead with her
grandson, Maurice.Do you have any death records for Cora Belle Anderson?
My next query is for Susan Elizabeth Rexroad
Teachout Butcher. Her first husband was Henry and I believe they had four children, two sons, one daughter named Minnie Belle Teachout and Cora Belle Teachout.
I understand that only Cora Belle Teachout left to live with her mother, Susan E. Rexroad Teachout Butcher.
Again, they lived on the Edward Grady Butcher homestead. Susan was a millinarist and set up her own shop on the homestead.
There is one census image that I have and it
refers to Suzy Butler as being Susan Butcher.I have a 1910 census image for Susan but nothing after this. Would you have any death record for her as well.
I am doing this for genealogical purposes and can find no death records for my great great
and great great great grandmothers.Edward Grady Butcher is buried in Rose Hill cemetary and his first wife is Sarah Willson (Wilson) and both of their tombstones are there
displayed prominently. (Rose Hill Cemetary, Camanche, Iowa). However, there was either a big fire or tornado where all of the cemetary records were destroyed.
Please email back to me as I would really like to find out where they passed away at.
I want to explain, that Cora Belle Teachout married Arthur E. Anderson and they were only married until 1900 when they divorced. I have
one census image that refers to her as Cora Belle
Dachout (which could be another spelling for Teachout). But nothing comes up under this name.Thank you very much.
