Mornin' Cindy, The Iowa marr. index on beta.familysearch.org indicates John & Mary Jane were married 26 May 1867. Might check with the Clinton co. clerk or the Iowa Dept of Health for anything add'l they can provide. I can't find anything on them after 1880 but did find your Holt family in 1850 & 1860. Nancy is older than Martha Jane and she (Nancy) has a twin named John. Dick
