Hi,I have Amelia C. A Kruse born 5 Dec 1879 in IA, the daughter of Louis Kruse and Catherine Schroeder. She married Fred Carstensen on 4 Mar 1903 in Deep Creek, Clinton IA, she is shown as widowed on the Iowa State Census 1915. Fred Carstensen was born about 1873 in Germany, and Iowa Cemetery Records show he died in 1912, in Woodbury County IA, does not give name of cemetery. The family was living in Woodbury on the 1910 US Census, married 7 years, had 5 children all living. Children were Edna C., Karotori (unable to make out spelling), Ruth S., Vernon R. and Louis P.
Hope this helps. I have no direct family connection.
