Welch/Welsh/Walsh family

WELCH, WELSH, WALSH, BURNS, COYLE

I am seeking any information about the James WELCH family who resided in DeWitt from 1959. He and his wife farmed and had seven children, the youngest of whom (John) may be one of my gggrandfathers. He was born 1/18/186 in Clinton County and enlisted in an Iowa regiment in 1898 for the Spanish American War. As far as I know, he did not return to Clinton but lived later in Ohio where he died in 1930. I suppose he was baptized and married in St. Mary's Church in Clinton. His wife Annie BURNS WELSH and his mother-in-law Susan COYLE are buried in St. Mary's Cemetary. Also, I am seeking information on two WELCH brothers, both orphans, who lived in Clinton County around the turn of the century. The name WELCH was spelled alternately WELSH and even WALSH. Thanks.
