I am searching for information on my ggrandparents (Michael H. Smith and Margaret Kennedy)& their siblings. They imigrated from Ireland and married in Clinton, Iowa in 1883. Michael worked for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad & is listed in the 1887 directory of Clinton. They eventually settled in Chicago. My ggrandmother's sister Nellie married a William Harrison in Clinton. He was a fireman. Michael Kennedy (my gguncle)settled in Clinton and was a farmer in McCausland. If you are researching these names, would love to hear from you.
