Jan, in 1880 that family was the only one who came up on the national index. In 1900 on the nat'l index nothing came up for the surname Necklesen. In 1920 on the nat'l index only one name came up, strangely also in Clinton iowa. it's a Maud C. Neckelsen, 46, widow,nativity Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois. She is enumerated as a daughter of Adam Hart who she is enumerated with. Adam's nativity is Wisconsin, Scotland, New York. Dick PS If you live near Picton, say hello to Gemma for me!!!
