In Response To: Anton Henningsen Family (Kelly Keegan)

Anton Gustav Henningsen, b. 26 Jun 1825, Pellworm, Schlesvig, Germany, m. Louise Friederica Carlsen, b. c 1835, Pellworm, 8 Aug 1854, Pellworm. Info on Louisa says she had seven children, while their son, Martin's, insurance application of 1894 says he has seven siblings; Anton may have been married prior to his marriage to Louise. August and Louise arrived in New York from Hamburg on 24 Apr 1882, with three of their children, August, Anton, and Friederike.

1. Daughter Henningsen (with Anton's first wife?), b. c 1852, Pellworm. No further info.

2. Daughter Henningsen, b. c. 1854, Pellworm. No further info.

3. Daughter Henningsen, b. c 1855, Pellworm. No further info.

Note: an Adolph Paulson is mentioned in an article on a reunion of Henningsens on Beaver Island in the late 1950's as being the eldest attendee. The newspaper article noted that he had lived in Germany and fought for Germany in WWI and came to the US circa 1923. He died 12 Jun 1960 in Clinton. He must have been a child of one of the sisters above, but I do not know which one.
