Dick,
Thank you for your response. I knew that they were in Carroll Co. The Albert's farm was in Salem Twp. and just around the corner from his father -in-law Christian Rauser.

The problem is knowing what happened to Ruth after she and Earl got married. I know there were three children and their son's name was Allen P. after his grandfather. What were the girls' names? When are the children's birth dates? Where in Iowa did the Sword's live for sure. When did the parents pass away and where are they buried?

These are the ?????'s causing the quest. Help!?!
