`good to hear from you Dick. I have my grandparents William Tilden Guyer
and Emma Fleming. I have my grandfathers parents, their parents, and so
on....I found them in Virginia. I go back 6 generations on most of them and
5 generations on the others. So I don't need anything now on any of the
Guyers. However, I cannot find anything beyond my grandmother (Emma Fleming) except
her father Herman Fleming who was born in April, 1861. I think he was born
in Clinton County but I've not been able to verify that, nor can I identify
his wife. So they're the one's I need to find in order to proceed further back.I'm glad to hear that Donny is still alive. I used to enjoy going over
there and talking with him....he'd sit there and rock in his chair, smoke
that pipe and talk about farming and his critters. They were good people.
I also loved to Woods people next door. I especially loved the girl who was
a couple of years older than me....what a beauty she was....I think she
contracted some kind of very awful disease that either paralyzed her or at
least put her in a wheel chair. I think her name was Pat. Then there was
Whitey who put the dynamite in the manure pile up there at the stockyard.
Anyway....lots of good memories from there.Dbutt
