Moore's in Clinton County

I'm researching my father's paternal family, and have hit a dead-end. Rumor has it the my grandfather, Jethro Albert(or Albert Jethro) Moore came from Clinton Ct., to Ohio as a young boy, with his mother, and a couple of sisters ('Tell' may have been one of them) His Uncles in Iowa may have been attorneys, and there is no mention of the father. I believe 'Bert' (as he was called) was born 1-21-1861.Any info would be greatly appreciated.
