adopted cousin/sister 1945

Looking for any information to help find a cousin. Her sister and brother desperately want to find her. There is very little information to go on so any help at all would be great.

She was named Sandra/Sandy and born about 1944 possibly the end of 1943, place unknown. Mother may have gone by the name Margaret Johnson or Anderson. The baby was adopted approx. the age of 1 year, probably 1945. Margaret resided between Rock Island Co.IL (living between sister's Della and Iva "Midge") and Clinton Co. IA (living with her brother William Johnson)during her pregnacy and the year she kept her daughter.
