Funeral services for Mrs. Edgar (Mabel Dora) Beuthien, 75, were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland, March 23, 1989 with burial in the New Liberty cemetery. Pallbearers were 8 grandsons, Linn and Paul Fahrenkrug and Robert, Norman, David, Christopher, Donald and Mathew Beuthien.

Mrs. Beuthien died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, March 20.

The daughter of William and Ann Giebelstein Meyer, she was born in Cedar county March 27, 1913. She attended Clinton county rural schools through 8th grade. She married Edgar Beuthien in Wheatland Nov. 23, 1932. She was a member of St. Paul's church.

She is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Joan Hackett, Arizona and Roselyn Fahrenkrug, Bettendorf; 4 sons, Harold and Roy, Davenport and Larry and Kenneth, Wheatland; 2 sisters, Ellen Rahn, Bennett and Ana Mae Nelson, Edgerton, Wis. and a brother, Harvey Meyer, Tipton.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 2 sisters, a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
