NATIONAL: Mark R. Sherman, a Chicago attorney for more than 50 years, died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lester Barritt in Chicago, where he made his home. He was 78 years old. Mr. Sherman was a graduate of the University of Michigan. He leaves is daughter, a son, Mark, Jr., and a sister, Miss Althea R. Sherman, ornithologist, educator and author. Services were held at the Boydston Brothers Chapel in Chicago. The Rev. Adix conducted a brief service in the Sherman family home at National, Monday afternoon at 1:30, with burial in the National cemetery.
