Bloyer - Roys marriage - 1951

The wedding of Alberta Jean Roys, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Roys, and Glen C. Bloyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bloyer of Spirit Lake, Iowa, was solemnized at the Volga Presbyterian church, July 18. The Rev. Henry D. Jones officiated. Maid of honor was Miss Barbra Roys and Miss Nathalie Carlson of Tribune, Kans., was bridesmaid. Janette Roys, sister of the bride, was the flower girl, and ushers were Willard Bergman of Marshall, Minn., a classmate of the bridal couple, and Lyle Roys of Volga. The best man was a brother of the groom, Warren Bloyer of Shellsburg, Iowa.

After a short honeymoon, the new couple will be at home at Spirit Lake, Iowa.
