Leonard - Livingston marriage - 1951

Marriage vows were exchanged by Miss Beverly Ann Livingston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Livingston of Elkader, and George Leonard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Leonard of Elkader. The Rev. Msgr. B. A. Skahill officiated in the St. Joseph's church at Elkader, July 21. The matron of honor was Mrs. Lester Meyer, sister of the groom, and Miss Donna Fassbinder, friend of the bride and Miss Wanda Wilson, cousin of the bride were bridesmaids. Robert Dalen, cousin of the groom of Strawberry Point, served as best man, and the groom's brother, James Leonard, and the bride's cousin, Don Sabann of Monona, served as ushers.

At the reception at the Vets club rooms, Mrs. Don Sabann, cousin of the bride, cut the cake and Wanda Wilson poured. Donna Fassbinder had charge of the guest book.

After September the new couple will be at home in Ames where Mr. Leonard will attend his second year of the college at Iowa State college.
