Sullivan - Berns marriage - 1941

MONONA: Miss Agnes Berns and Thomas William Sullivan were married Thursday in St. Patrick's Catholic church, the Rev. Father Luke Donlon officiating. Attending the couple were Miss Rita Sullivan of Waukon, a sister of the groom, and Private Hubert Berns of Camp Claiborne, La., a brother of the bride.

The honeymoon is being spent at the Wisconsin Dells, after which the new home will be made in the Monona apartment house.

Mrs. Sullivan is a graduate of the local high schools and the past four years was secretary to George Heins, Jr., local attorney. She is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Berns. The groom graduated from the Lansing high school and is now operating the Grand Cafe (in Monona). He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sullivan of Waukon.
