James Carter Dies Wed., January 6

Funeral services for James Omer Carter will be held at 1:30 Wednesday, January 6 at Webster Kale Funeral Home. Mr. Carter did at the Clarke County Hospital Sunday, January 3.

James Omer Carter, 80, was born February 15, 1890, in Macon County, Missouri the son of James Milton and Julia Ver Trees Carter. He attended Macon County schools and was married in Osceola, Iowa February 26, 1920 to Clara Osborn. Five children were born to this union. He was a retired farmer and was affiliated with the Methodist church.(The rest is missing)
