DIED – At her home in Silver Township, June 11, 1887, Mrs. James Will, aged 37 years, 5 months and 7 days.
Julia A. Prescott was born Jan 4, 1850, and died at her home in Silver, June 11, 1887. She was united in marriage to James Will, March 20, 1874, at the home of her mother in Preston, Minn. And in a short time came with her husband to Iowa, where she assisted him in securing a home as only an earnest, thoughtful wife could. Always cheerful and lighthearted, she contributed to the happiness of those around her.

Sister Will was converted at the age of eighteen, and united with the Methodist Episcopal church of which she remained a faithful and active member until with joy she went to the church above. She leaves a sorrow-stricken husband who knows the worth of a noble wife, and five children, who knew a fond mother’s love, a mother, four sisters, two brothers and a large circle of relatives and friends who mourn their loss. While the church of which sister Will was a member deeply feels the loss it has sustained, as a community we unite in saying one of the excellent of earth has been taken from us. But we do not mourn as for those having no hope for “We shall meet beyond the river.”
