Memorial services for Joeva Conard of Cherokee, Iowa will be held on Thursday, August 6 at the Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee. Gregg Johnson will officiate. Her body was cremated and will be buried in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota at a later date.

Mrs. Conard passed away July 12, 1998, in Minneapolis following a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of Cherokee for many years. (Source: Former Cherokee County Historical Society scrapbook clipping dated 8-4-1998)
