Descendants of WHITMAN (SIMONS) From N.Y.S. to Cerro Gordo

2/1/2013 - Wish to contact descendants of Charlotte SIMONS Whitman & Scott Winfield Whitman to learn MAIDEN name of Charlotte's mother Catherine Ann (b. 1816). I presume Catherine Ann Simons was born BRADT and was sister to my great-grandmother. No paper nor family history trail exist, only circumstantial evidence.

Charlotte & Scott Whitman left N.Y.S. for Iowa ca. 1870‘s & lived near Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa. The couple should have descendants. Charlotte’s siblings have listed descendants.

Am in contact with three/four living descendants of two siblings of Charlotte Simons Whitman. ‘Am in contact with my many living cousins presumably related to descendants of old Catherine Ann Simons.
