Fell Far to Pavement

Mason City Boy Takes Tumble of
Sixteen Feet to Cement Sidewalk Below

Mason City, July 22-Reid Buchanan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Buchanan is not an aviator but Thursday night he fell a distance of sixteen feet lighting on a cement sidewalk and he is in pretty good condition today for the flight he took. He was leaning against a screen window in an upper story building and it gave way with him and he went over backwards. His fall was not obstructed until he hit on the cement pavement and the surprise is that he went through it and came out alive.
