Funeral services for Margaret Eiselstein, 76, Davenport and formerly of Muscatine, were held June 6, 1989 at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral home with the Rev. Jim Trosen officiating. Barbara Letts was the organist and Connie Miller was the vocalist. Pallbearers were Ralph and Raymond Fromer, Todd Ricketts, Herbert and Harold Whitmer, Verle and Daryl SyWassink and Gary Grete. Burial was in the Muscatine Memorial Park cemetery.

Mrs. Eiselstein died June 2 at Mercy hospital in Davenport.

The daughter of Cyril and Lilian Miller Whitmer, she was born May 30, 1913 in Cedar county. She lived in the Cedar county area most of her life. She married Frank Eiselstein Feb. 9, 1933 in Tipton. She attended the Faith United Church of Christ.

Mrs. Eiselstein is survived by her husband, Frank; a daughter, Mrs. Ted (Mary Jane) Ricketts, Muscatine; 3 grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild and 2 brothers, Leslie Whitmer, Muscatine and Everett Whitmer, Walcott. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
