Last rites for Mrs. Joe (Edna) Billick, 89, were held at the West Branch United Methodist church Nov. 24 with the Rev. Sameul J. Hahn officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Billick died at the Crestview Nursing home Nov. 20.

The daughter of Charles and Aggie McCollough Hawthorne, she was born at Lone Tree Jan. 22, 1897. She married Joe Billick in Iowa City Nov. 26, 1919. She was a member of the West Branch United Methodist church and the Amvets.

She is survived by 2 sons, Marion, Tipton and Charles, Monona; a daughter, Florence Hayslett, West Branch and several grandchildren.
