Funeral services for Nettie Larsen, 88, West Liberty, were held Aug. 15 at the Snider Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ted Eilders officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Larsen died Aug. 13 at the Simpson Memorial Home after an extended illness.

The daughter of Jensen and Carolyn Sorenson, she was born Oct. 31, 1897 in Cedar county. She married Carl Larsen in 1919 in West Branch.

Mrs. Larsen is survived by 2 sons, Harold Larsen, West Liberty and Lester Larsen, Marengo; a daughter, Francis Seymour, Hattieburg, Miss.; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
