Funeral services for Mildred Lenker, 82, Wilton, were held July 7 at the Grace United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Bob Mayo officiating. Pallbearers were Herbert Ovesen, Kenneth Pasvogel, Albert Waller, Lawrence Duffe, Amos Mohr and Roger Schroeder. Honorary pallbearers were Allen Keppy, Evans Waller, Roger Waller, Wayne Krug and Leonard Schwitzer. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery.
Mrs. Lenker died July 2 at her Wilton home.
The daughter of Irvin and Maude Noble, she was born April 16, 1904 in Sumner, Neb. She married Clarence Lenker Sept. 14, 1927 in North Platte, Neb.
Mrs. Lenker was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, the Wilton Garden Club, The Royal Neighbors of America, the Cedar County Farm Bureau, the Cedar County Porkettes and the Bennett Citizens.
She is survived by a son, F. W. "Bill" Lenker, Wilton; a daughter, Mrs. Warren (Kay) McConahay, Columbus City; 2 grandsons, a great-granddaughter and a sister, Lois Posusta, Grand Island, Neb. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970, a son and a brother.
