Funeral services for Edwin Meyer, 72, will be held at St. John's United Church of Christ, Clarence, today (April 29) with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Meyer died at the Mechanicsville Care center April 19.

He married Irene Klatt in Clarence in 1943. She died in 1963. He retired as a mechanic for the Cedar county secondary road department. He had also been a farmer.

He is survived by a son, James, Mechanicsville; 2 grandsons and 5 sisters, Emma Ogden and Irene Laing, Tipton; Adela Hasenbank and Pauline Goldsmith, Clarence and Louise Bicknese, Wilton.
