Last rites for Mrs. Clarence (Dora Elizabeth) Tenley, 94, were held at the United Methodist church, Mechanicsville April 2 with the Rev. Jaymee Glenn Burns officiating. Burial was in Red Oak Grove cemetery, Tipton. Pallbearers were Kerry Koch, Don Albaugh, Joe Shields, Dale Mc Crea, William Tenley and Kirk Ruchtozke. Mrs. Calvin Robinson was organist and Mrs. Rudy Huffman was vocalist.

Mrs. Tenley died in Mechanicsville March 31.

The daughter of Elizabeth and Hugh Tucker, she was born in Jones county Sept. 14, 1891. She was educated and taught school in Jones and Buchanan counties. She was married to a schoolmate, Clarence Earl Tenley, Feb. 16, 1921. He died Oct. 6, 1957.

She is survived by a brother, Lewis Tucker, Aurora; a son, Russell, Olin and a daughter, Ruth Eloise Ruchotzke, Mechanicsville; 10 grandchildren, William Russell, Patricia Jean and Clarence Earl Tenley; Kirk Lee, Criag Larry, Cathy Diane and Barbara Jean Ruchotzke; Connie Lynn Albaugh, Christy Ann Shields and Rozanna Ruth Koch; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
