MARRIED- January 1st., by the Rev. J.T. Coleman, Mr. James L. Brooks, of Dubuque, to Miss Melissa A. Jones, of Red Oak Grove, Cedar co., Iowa.

With the above notice we received a shining little round gold dollar, and a large tound cake, for which the parties have the undivided and unreserved thanks of this office, together with our sincere wishes that they may ever have an abundance of the "same sort" left; and as they have so bountifully remembered the printers, in the midst of their joy, so may Heaven remember them, and keep their joy undiminished, their happiness unchanged, and their life a sea of bless.
