COLERIDGE, Neb. - Joseph Brandl, 90, of Coleridge, Neb., formerly of Carroll, died Saturday morning, Jan. 8, at the Colonial Manor in Randolph, Neb.
A rosary will be a 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wintz Funeral Home, Coleridge.
Mass of the resurrection will be offered by the Rev. R. Battiato of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Coleridge, at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Interment will be at the St. Michael Cemetery at Hartington, Neb.
Mr. Brandl was born in Atziern, Germany, and came to the United States when he was 13.
He resided at Carroll for several years, and later homesteaded in South Dakota.
In 1910 he married Helen Keiser of Hartington.
He was engaged in farming until his retirement.
Surviving are two sons, six daughters, 62 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, a daughter, a child in infancy, and a brother and two sisters from the Carroll area.
