Minnie C. Stangl, 75, of 920 North Main, died Sunday, June 8 at 5 a.m. at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. She had been ill for six weeks.
Mass of the resurrection will be held at Holy Spirit Church Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Leo Lenz V.F. officiating. Rosaries will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday by the Legion of Mary and at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the Twit Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Miss Stangl was born Nov. 27, 1899 at Mt. Carmel. She was the daughter of John and Theresa Entres Stangl. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Church, the Women's Guild and Legion of Mary. She was educated at St. Peters and Paul of Carroll and was pastry cook for many years at the Burke Hotel.
She is survived by two sisters, Eleanor and Theresa Stangl of Carroll, one brother, George Stangl of Casper, Wyoming; two nieces, Mrs. James Walker of Farmingville, N.Y. and Mrs. Bob Roof of Peoria, Ill.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara and May Stangl and one brother, Michael.
