haven't checked my email for awhile and was excited to see I got a response. I know only a few things. My gr-father's name was Johannes Haaland. and as far as I know who lived in Stavanger. I did find some other family that he had. I'll have to dig for it as I had given up on finding anyone else looking for Haaland. I will find it and send you a message. can you tell me anything about your Haaland family? One thing I remeber is he had a sister,Ester, who came to USA and she married a Nils Lea in chicago.
