USMC CAP UNIT CHARLIE 2

As a young Marine in Viet Nam in 1970 I was severely injured in a fire fight in the Que Son Valley Region. I was assigned to a CAP unit near Fire Support Base Ross, We actually lived in a village with the Vietnamese people which in itself was a great experience. After 30+ years I came in contact with the Marine who called in a medivac helicopter which probally saved my life since I was losing alot of blood. I would like to thank John Kelly of Fonda, Iowa who was just doing his job as a Marine, but thanks to him and my fellow Marines I am here to tell about it. God bless you John and welcome home!
