Hi,

I'm not a relative. I just love tough problems like yours.

Your answer may be found in Portage County Ohio as that is where a marriage took place between James Duprey and Caroline Chamberlain according to extracted county marriaage records on film at the Family History Library.

In your search be sure to check for possible relatives as it appears a group of Dupreys migrated to Iowa.

Land records(County and federal) and probates should be checked in all Iowa counties mentioned and name spelling variants shoulld be considered, i.e. Dupree, Duprey, Chamberlin, Chamberlain.
