Thanks for the info. Elna/ellen/Nellieīs original name was Linderblad but in the states it was sometimes written Linderblood. Her father was a carpenter in Sweden and took the name there. His full name was Nils Nilsson Linderblad. I suspect that Nils swedish dialect (and perhaps he didnīt speak very well english) made that it sounded like Linderblood.
