Hi Cindy,

Thanks for the response to my query. Your Charles is not our charles. His children's names were, Oliver, Chester, Clarence, Mattie, Mable and Alfred. They were all born in Holt Co., NE. Charles was the son of Archelaus Ross who married Amanda Overman, daughter of Albert Z. Overman. Archelaus's parents were Samuel and Candace(Maker) Ross. I think Samuel is buried somewhere in Boone Co., but have not found any info on this as of yet. Amanda came to Nebraska with Archelaus and others around 1879 where she died.
