Thank you! thank you! thank you! This info has been a mystery for some time to us. I appreciate your work.
All the Ruby's were steamboat men and since Rapid City is on the Des Moines River and he drowned I wonder if he could have been in a steamboat wreck of some kind. I would be glad to pay you to look in that month for an incident on the river.
we have a rapid city Illinois a few miles up the river and we assumed that the info was a mistake saying Iowa instead of Illinois
