Cemetery Records

Need help finding record of Margaret Herron died in Boone, December 1880 and was buried at Sacared Heart Cemetery in Boone. I was told that the records were lost in a fire. Is the cemetery operated by the local church and is there a funeral home still operating that may have burial records? Margaret lived with her daughter Margaret Dickson.
