John Hoffmeister

Trying to find info on a John Hoffmeister. According to his obit he was a "prominent farmer residing near Gilbert Station and well known in Boone". His father was George Hoffmeister, mother Elizabeth. John committed suicide in early 1905. I know he was married and had children, but his obit doesn't give those names. Also know that he is buried in Mackey cemetery. Any help would be great. Thanks.
